Building a three marquee sized parachute in a gale was eventually deemed unwise so Sunsets 2 didn’t materialise. The roadies were back in action this week, undaunted and this time successful.

Sunsets 2019 #1 …

Sometimes the first gig in the series has the smallest audience but it grows over the month. If that happens this year we may have to close the road!

Carols by Kingston 2018 …

Our first time at the new venue, Bicentennial Park, Chelsea. Despite the move the crowd seemed just as big as last year. A great show …

Photography came to an end when the security officers descended on Gail and demanded she stop. When she didn’t the police were called. She was told she would be arrested if she persisted and was threatened with having her sd card taken.

Sunset 4, 2018 …

A testament to the determination of both band and audience. The morning setup was in hot and humid conditions.

Through the day a dedicated group kept the marquees in Mordialloc while the wind endeavoured to blow them to Dandenong. And when performance time came band and crowd alike had to endure cold and blustery conditions.
